Acqua di Parma
Puppet Theatre
The project was inspired by the Acqua di Parma campaign video, set at Teatro di Villa Aldrovandi Mazzacorati in Bologna.
In this puppet show the craftsmen’s hands and their tools are the protagonists: together they create the famous Acqua di Parma yellow hatbox, as if by magic. We brought in the window the story of craftsmanship and the co-participation of different skills for the creation of a unique product.
The puppet theatres appeared in the windows of Acqua di Parma all around the world. In Milano and Roma the show became live with movement and accompanied by a bespoke music track.
Together with the windows, we created objects to decorate the interior of the shops: miniature scenarios inhabited the yellow hatboxes.
The concept was also adapted to pop-ups such as Le Bon Marche in Paris, creating a larger scale theatre play.
